Robert Pattinson Is Not Sorry He Upset Batman Fans With Superhero comment

Robert Pattinson is not sorry he upset Batman fans with the Batman superhero comment he made. It’s bad enough the Batman role for the 2021 film was given to a non Batman fan, Robert Pattinson, but Pattinson adds insult to injury by saying Batman is not a superhero.

Batman is one of the most popular comic book characters of all time, and therefore he means a lot to the generations of fans out there.

The Dark Knight has been adapted for film countless times throughout the years, the next of which being Matt Reeves’ upcoming blockbuster The Batman.

Let’s not get crazy and call THE BATMAN a blockbuster yet

The movie just started filming, with Robert Pattinson gearing up to play the title character. Pattinson recently got in hot water with fans over comments he made about Batman not being a superhero since he doesn’t have any powers.

Robert Pattinson doesn’t seem too apologetic about the situation

As quoted by Robert Pattinson, “I wasn’t educated about the subject. People got very angry about it. It’s bizarre. I still can’t understand the argument. Okay, he’s a superhero, I’m sorry! The next headline: ‘Pattinson retracts: Batman is, in fact, a superhero. He takes it back.’

So, let’s get this straight, Robert Pattinson isn’t educated on Batman and gets the role of Batman. Robert Pattinson can’t understand why BATMAN FANS got angry at his BS comment? Oh, did we say he’s playing Batman in the new Batman movie coming out in 2021?

Pattison can’t understand the argument on what he said about Batman and takes his comment back with no feeling or care.

The Batman will hit theaters on June 25th, 2021 and is filming now. In the meantime, be sure to check out our 2021 release list to plan your next trip to the movies.

Robert Pattinson says Batman isn’t a superhero and yet, is cast as Batman

We at The Joker Box think Pattinson should stick to his girly TWILIGHT movies, which he supposedly hated doing…but didn’t hate the money. Poor choice for the Batman franchise, but then again, the franchise died with Heath Ledger and Christopher Nolan.

    1. A great question that will never be answered. There are so many unknown actors that would kill it, but they choose bottom of the barrel. It is for this reason I will not see certain movies…..Joker (2019) is one of them. Not that he was a bad actor, but the trailers just did nothing for me. I can’t jump on the band wagon because everyone else is or because it’s just tagged as the new JOKER movie.

      1. I agree. I didn’t see Joker for a similar reason. I just feel that the way they made joker’s backstory wasn’t great. I probably would have seen it if the story was closer to the comics, but what do I know. Lol
